Will Kaka outshine Ronaldo?
By IAN LADYMANLast updated at 15:41 24 April 2007
SO THE TWO BEST PLAYERS IN THE WORLD FACE EACH OTHER ON TUESDAY NIGHT, RIGHT?
It depends who you listen to. I am sure people at Barcelona may say that Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho deserve a mention.
But on current form Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo are up there.
SO WHO IS THE BEST?
Ronaldo has had honourable mentions from the likes of Sir Bobby Charlton and Henrik Larsson this season, while in Italy the vote will go for Kaka.

Kaka and Ronaldo: Star-turns face off on Tuesday night at Old Trafford
Here is Sir Alex Ferguson?s take: "I would say Cristiano is the best in the world right now but Kaka is up there too. He is a very talented player and brings great movement to Milan?s play. He will be our biggest problem."
HOW DO THEIR PERFORMANCES MATCH UP?
Ronaldo is just ahead this season. He has 21 goals from 47 games compared to Kaka?s 15 from 43. But Kaka is a better Champions League performer.
The Brazilian has scored 18 times in the competition while Ronaldo has contributed just once in the Champions League proper.
RONALDO WAS THREE TIMES AS EXPENSIVE ? AT £12MILLION ? THAN KAKA. IS HE RICHER, TOO?
Yes, he is. The United man?s recent deal at Old Trafford took his weekly wage to £120,000 compared to Kaka?s earnings of £55,000.
SHOULD WE FEEL SORRY FOR THE LITTLE FELLA, THEN?
Not really. Kaka has endorsements from adidas and Armani jeans to top up his bank balance. Oh yes, he won the World Cup in 2002 as well.
GOOD POINT. SO WHO WILL COME OUT ON TOP HERE?
With United?s injuries, Milan perhaps start as slight favourites. But Ronaldo is having the season of his life, so don?t bet against him.

Don't get me wrong Kaka is a special player but with Cristiano he's something else the speed, unbelievalbe tricks and pretty good at shooting. The way i see he could get past any defender.
Ronaldo may be brilliant with the ball, but he still has much to learn. Kaka is the more mature, selfless, smart, and productive player. Plus, there's a difference between confidence and arrogance. I'll take Kaka every time.
